All-round carefre package

Customised maintenance packages for your lift.

We offer our customers individual service and maintenance packages that are geared to suit their specific requirements. After all, every type of lift installation – whether it is in a shopping centre, an office building or a private residence – is exposed to different forms of stress and wear. Apart from technical support, our portfolio also includes a call-out service in case of emergencies and regular cleaning.

Maintenance packages

Customised concepts optimise lift operations.

You decide on the extent and coverage of your certified maintenance package. Whatever package you choose, you can be sure that our individual service concepts will  help to maintain the optimum operating level of your lift installation.

Emergency call and breakdown

Peace of mind in every situation.

Safety is key. In emergency cases, our specially trained technicians based at our emergency service centre contact the persons affected via telephone in the elevator cabin. The system simultaneously transmits all relevant location data, allowing the service engineer, who has been notified immediately, to be on site as quickly as possible. All operations are documented and evaluated in detail, giving our customers peace of mind in any situation.

Cleaning

Professional cleaning for panoramic lifts made of glass.

Design requires clarity. Taking care of a stylish, high-class glass elevator is a job for the professionals. Our specialist cleaning personnel will put the sparkle back in your technical treasure. We rely on specially trained glass cleaners who can ride the elevator without requiring additional support from a technician. That saves time and money. A squeaky clean concept.

Safety for all. At all times.

As work equipment, lift installations require regular inspections. LUTZ Elevators ensures the consistent compliance with all statutory regulations.

The law defines passenger and freight elevators as work equipment, thus making them subject to statutory monitoring and inspection. The safety of all persons who come into direct or indirect contact with the installation is always of the utmost priority. A lift installation can only be put into operation when all relevant safety aspects have been tested and evaluated as part of a risk assessment so as to ensure optimal compliance with the latest standards in technology. This includes a thorough examination of the lift’s operations as well as additional operational measures such as repair and maintenance.

As one of the leading companies in this sector, LUTZ Elevators provides this risk assessment as prescribed by law.

Modernisation can be a viable alternative to building an entirely new lift installation. Our expertise should be the basis for your decision.

External training creates flexibility

As a leading company in the industry, we are happy to pass on our know-how. We conduct training sessions with outside staff, familiarising them with modern lift technology and all safety-related aspects. As a result, employees working in Facility Management at a property, for example, can take their lift attendant exam with the support of LUTZ Elevators. By doing so, we are improving safety and creating a higher level of flexibility

Seminars and training courses

Qualification for lift attendants.

According to the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), lift operators are obliged to appoint a “qualified person” for the safety assessment of your lift installation and to specify potential rescue measures. A “qualified person” is someone whose training, experience and professional career provides them with the necessary expertise to carry out the proposed safety assessment and any potential rescue measures.

In order to provide you with the prerequisite knowledge and skills in accordance with the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health, we offer you an assessment and/or training course as conducted by our technical experts.

Lift caretaker service

The formula for safety: remote diagnostics + on-site inspections.

The stringent statutory occupational safety requirements stipulate regular on-site inspections of a lift installation through a “qualified person”. We can take on this task for you within the framework of our “Lift Caretaker Service”. The combination of regular on-site inspections and electronic monitoring through our remote diagnostics system provides maximum security. The remote diagnostics system regularly retrieves all relevant technical data via an automatically controlled broadcast call and documents all data and figures.

Lift alarm service

Rappid assistence through our elevator emergency call system (TRBS 2181).

In the event of an emergency, an alarm button in the lift cabin establishes telephone contact with our emergency service centre. At the same time, the system transmits vital data regarding the lift, i.e. its location. The emergency service centre can speak directly to the people in the cabin and immediately notify a service technician who then gains access to the building by means of a deposited key to release the trapped passengers. The emergency call is registered and all subsequent measures are documented.

Inspection service

You focus on your core business, while we take care of the periodic inspections of your lift installation.

You focus on your core business, while we take care of the periodic inspections of your lift installation. As part of our service, we organise inspections, coordinate the parties concerned, handle the inspection process and file the inspection reports (according to §§ 19 and 20 of the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV)). By request, we can also determine the inspection interval if your lift installation has not yet been registered with the responsible supervisory authority.

Documentation service

Duty of documentation for lift operators.

Operators of lift installations are legally obligated to provide complete documentation.  That involves a considerable amount of work as it requires the operator to log all inspection, maintenance and incident reports and, where applicable, accident reports on a regular basis and make them available at all times at the lift installation.

As part of our service, we can relieve you of this responsibility as well as providing you with operating manuals for older and existing installations.

Technical Regulation 1111 on Industrial Safety and Health (TRBS) of the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) requires a risk assessment and technical safety evaluation of all lift installations commissioned prior to January 1 2003. The basis for this assessment is the DIN EN 81-80 standard. DIN EN 81-80 is a European standard governing the safety of existing lifts; a Europe-wide checklist was compiled indicating the risks arising from the operation of existing installations. A risk assessment according to EN 81-80 and TRBS 1111 can be performed by any authorised inspection agency, such as TÜV, DEKRA or even LUTZ Elevators.

This documentation service is also a component in other products included in our range of services, such as the comprehensive, full maintenance package LS 100, our electronic elevator attendant service (AWS) and our inspection service (PS).

Electronic video surveillance

Video-on-demand - from any place and at any time.

Video-on-demand is the optimal solution when seeking the best possible protection from vandalism and other operational malfunctions. This system is particularly suited to providing protection in locations where a lift is used by a high number of nameless people. Installation expenditure varies according to individual requirements and is dependent on the installation’s preliminary setup.

If required, new elevators can be be pre-equipped for VOD; older installations or those from other manufacturers can be retrofitted. Surveillance by means of two mini cameras is standard. The system can either be purchased or leased.

Electrical inspection

Long-term reliability for your elevator.

The Technical Rules for Operational Safety (TRBS 1201 part 4) require an additional inspection of the electrical safety of your installation. In general, this inspection must be carried out by a certified electrician every four years. This inspection can also be performed by our company on your behalf.

Our qualified electricians inspect your lift installation in accordance with the regulations. In the event of a fault, they will submit a detailed list of defects and, upon request, take corrective action.
